Situated in dreamy countryside Birkenhof, it was created as the perfect getaway place for families who want to enjoy the benefits of the outdoor rural scenario having all the comfort of the urban living. Birkenhof is a traditional German half-timbered construction with beautiful wooden beams visible on the interior as well. The entire place was developed and build having them as style guidelines.
Although the use of traditional furniture would have come as a simple solution, a mix of textures and natural earthy colors were used instead, to reflect the concept of modern & natural harmony.

For the upholstered pieces like the armchairs, benches, and barstools as well as the cushions of the dining chairs, it was used a brown velvet thanks to its gentle pleasant touch perception.

The carefully chosen dining chairs are handcrafted Lloyd loom weaving with a high back granting a restful position. The solid wood table tops have slight hand carvings onto the surface recalling the rustic finish of the old rural furniture.
In the area of the dining benches and in the one of the lounge corner the walls have been painted brick red instead of the classic stone or brick wall, conferring them an elegant touch but still being in line with the classy rustic vibe of the place. The rest of the walls are covered in
wallpaper that has a subtle linear pattern perfectly assorted with upholstery of the benches and with the curtains.
The combination of wood, earthy colors, comfortable pieces of furniture and the attention to all the details join altogether into a cozy welcoming feeling for whoever steps in.
